Ciudad de México a 1ro de mayo de 2023.– Diversas organizaciones sindicales, políticas, sociales y populares que aglutinaron a aproximadamente 40 mil personas, se dieron cita la mañana del primero de mayo sobre Av. Paseo de la Reforma, específicamente en el Ángel de la Independencia para marchar hacia el Monumento a la Revolución y realizar un mitin en conmemoración del Día Internacional de los trabajadores en donde la mayoría de las organizaciones coincidieron en que la lucha de los trabajadores no puede ser aislada.

Primeramente las organizaciones se solidarizaron con el pueblo francés que igualmente lucha contra el sistema de pensiones, mejores condiciones laborales y la seguridad social en sus unidades de trabajo.

Entre las organizaciones presentes estuvieron la ANUEE, el SUTNOTIMEX, el SITIMTA, el SME, el UNTA, el STUNAM, las secciones VII, XII, VIII de la CNTE, SUTINAOE, la Nueva Central de Trabajadores, el STTPDF, el SITUAM, el SUTIEMS, MULT, FPR, el Partido Comunista Marxista-Leninista, etc.

la marcha se solidarizó con las luchas del pueblo francés

Los primeros en tomar la palabra fueron los compañeros del SUTNOTIMEX, quienes por las acciones del gobierno, cuestionaron su ideología política y evidenciaron que el gobierno, luego de tres años, quiso finalizar la huelga de los trabajadores desapareciendo a la Agencia de noticias del Estado mexicano para ocultar la corrupción de su directora Sanjuana Martínez la cual lleva $900 millones de pesos gastados de manera ilegal. Por último compararon la desaparición de NOTIMEX con la desaparición que hizo el expresidente Felipe Calderón de Luz Y fuerza del Centro para golpear a su sindicato.

SUTNOTIMEX y SITIMTA encabezaron la marcha independiente del primero de mayo

Otro sindicato que hoy peligra es el SITIMTA y fue su secretario de Relaciones del exterior, Rafael Espinoza Méndez quien pugnó por unir más que nunca las fuerzas de los sindicatos democráticos ante la fuerte avanzada del gobierno en donde camuflagean los golpes a los trabajadores con reformas constitucionales.

Sobre el Instituto Mexicano de Tecnología del Agua (SITIMTA) mencionó que siempre que el presidente de la república se refiere a su desaparición lo ha hecho con 3 premisas falsas. Rafael mencionó que si hay corrupción en el sindicato, que se investigue pero que no se lesione la imagen de todos los que están ahí, especialmente de los investigadores y personal operativo. La segunda premisa es la duplicidad de funciones en la cual rápidamente el secretario dijo que es mentira ya que la función de CONAGUA es fomentar y la del IMTA es realizar investigación y desarrollo tecnológico. En el último punto sobre el ahorro de dinero, Rafael evidenció que la CONAGUA tiene un presupuesto de 74 mil millones de pesos, lo cual no se compara con los 211 millones que le dan al IMTA y en donde los propios trabajadores con su labor, generan ingresos propios con los cuales pagan el contrato colectivo y le dan mantenimiento a todas las instalaciones del instituto.

Israel González Vázquez, secretario general de la CNTE, sección VII dijo en su turno que a muchos años de promulgarse la fecha del día del trabajo, cada vez estamos peor; los derechos de los trabajadores siguen siendo pisoteados por los gobiernos. Que la vida para el trabajador cada vez es más difícil y que en el sector educativo no ha sido la excepción como la reciente iniciativa del gobierno para desaparecer la Dirección General de Educación Indígena. Dijo que no van a permitir que eliminen esta dirección de una sola línea.

«Hacemos extensivo el llamado a la unidad. construyamos un solo frente para luchar por los derechos de los trabajadores, para rescatar las conquistas que se nos han quitado. Solamente unidos y organizados venceremos. Hasta la victoria.»

La Coordinadora Nacional de Sindicatos Universitarios de Educación Superior, Ciencia, Tecnología y Cultura (SUTINAOE) tomó la palabra y con indignación mencionó que no es posible que no hayan recursos para que aumentar la matrícula en universidades para que las instituciones de cultura tengan recursos para poder ejercer las funciones que tienen, siendo que la SEDENA en tres años hizo subejercicios de $74 mil millones de pesos. Otra de sus peticiones fueron un mayor número de plazas para personal basificado ya que existe un tipo de contratación que no incluye seguridad social. Mencionó también que no se les toma en cuenta para la creación de leyes al respecto.

Sobre el Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (INAH) dijo que existe hostigamiento de las autoridades y que no quieren que la SEDENA ni la Guardia Nacional intervengan en las funciones sustantivas que desarrolla el instituto.

Exigimos que no haya una intervención de la SEDENA ni la Guardia Nacional en las funciones del INAH. Si el instituto es el único que tiene facultades a nivel nacional para hacer excavaciones, hoy es la SEDENA quien contrata el personal y al instituto no se le toma en cuenta.

En otra intervención, Juan Carlos Escalante de la Asamblea Nacional de Usuarios de Energía Eléctrica calificó de acertada la decisión de hacer esta marcha independiente y dejó en claro que la unidad es un elemento fundamental para combatir a un régimen que defiende al capitalismo y neoliberalismo. Cuestionó este sistema económico argumentando que no sólo no ha cambiado prácticamente en nada sino que ha desarrollado nuevas herramientas para generar una mayor explotación para los trabajadores en condiciones cada vez más precarias y miserables.

Cabe destacar que en la movilización se dividió en dos ya que hubo un contingente que planeó hacer su mitin en el Zócalo capitalino. Este mitin fue liderado por el Sindicato Mexicano de Electricistas aunque hubo organizaciones que dieron discursos en ambas sedes como fue el caso de SUTNOTIMEX.
