CDMX, 18 de agosto de 2022.– Representantes del pueblo San Juan Tacotenco del Estado de Morelos, junto con organizaciones hermanas como la ANUEE marcharon hacia las oficinas del Alto Comisionado de las Naciones Unidas ubicadas en Polanco para exigir la anulación del decreto del 14 de noviembre de 1929 donde el Municipio de Tepoztlán asimila forzadamente a los pueblos de Amatlán, Santa Catarina y San Juan Tlacotenco.

…se cometió al negarse el Gobierno mencionado a ANULAR, la asimilación forzada de nuestro poblado al poblado de Tepoztlán, que se llevó a cabo el 14 de noviembre de 1929, cuando el entonces Presidente de la República, emitió una resolución mediante la cual se reconocieron y titularon tierras a la comunidad agraria de Tepoztlán, Morelos, publicada en el Diario Oficial de la Federación el 31 de enero de 1930, y por cuya emisión FUE FORZOSAMENTE ANEXADA AL POBLADO DE TEPOZTLÁN, DE CULTURA E HISTORIA TLAHUICA, NUESTRA COMUNIDAD DE CULTURA E HISTORIA XOCHIMILCA

La autonomía de estos pueblos se ha venido reivindicando desde el siglo XVI hasta nuestros días.

Las diferencias de estos pueblos son de lengua Náhuatl y posee una identidad conservando sus usos y costumbres que son claramente diferenciados a la que presenta el Municipio de Tepoztlán quien desde 1929 ha pasado a convertirse en un poblado de migrantes internacionales de habla inglesa y convertirse en urbano con fraccionamiento residencial con lo cual sus intereses son ya opuestos a los de los pueblos náhuatl con vocación rural quien aun viven de la agricultura y del bosque.

En la historia reciente, por ejemplo, ya en 1996 se les negó al pueblo de San Juan Tlacotenco el derecho de todo pueblo de libre asociación y autodeterminación y condenándolos al estado de esclavitud al forzarlo a ser parte agraria de una entidad a la que no desee pertenecer.

Actualmente se ha creado un vacío donde el Tribunal Agrario reconoce que son una unidad comunidad indígena, que tiene la posesión que señalamos de nuestras tierras y territorios pero no declaró la nulidad de decreto de 1929.

En 2021 se presentó al C. Presidente de la República la petición para que anulara el decreto de reconocimiento y titulación de bienes comunales que los anexa forzosamente al poblado de Tepoztlán, reconociendo su autonomía como poblado indígena.
El asunto se les turnó a diferentes oficinas quedando finalmente en el olvido.

En la Asamblea Nacional de Usuarios de la Energía Eléctrica y el Movimiento Nacional de Usuarios esperamos que las autoridades de Derechos Humanos puedan hacer diferencia y logren que los pueblos Náhuatl de Morelos tengan autodeterminación y dejen de ser víctimas del Municipio de Tepoztlán que buscan invadir y vender sus tierras a extranjeros.
