Oaxaca de Juárez.– La tarde de este lunes 17 de enero de 2022, integrantes del Movimiento de Unificación y Lucha Triqui (MULT) fueron emboscados y heridos gravemente por integrantes del Movimiento Unificación y Lucha Triqui Independiente (MULTI) a la altura de la desviación de la comunidad Yerba Santa Copala por integrantes del MULTI. Se sabe que el MULTI maneja armas reglamentarias del ejército.

Entre las víctimas de este atentado se encuentran los compañeros dirigentes Eleazar Ortiz y Raúl Martínez Cruz, así como los militantes Epifanio Ortíz y Alfredo Silverio Méndez.

El MULT ha llamado siempre a la paz y la unidad a todos los Trìquis de todas las comunidades y de todas las organizaciones.
